Back Track

Looking back into my 1st blog post I can tell that I have achieved a few things that I wrote & also that I have gained more knowledge than what I thought. One of the things that I think I did learn was how to write a paper with a purpose because before I would care less about whether I had stated a clear purpose for the audience to clearly identify.

Another thing that I have achieved was paying attention to the tone I use when I begin a paper and when I finish writing as well. I also achieved how to keep an accurate chronological order and was aware of not rephrasing the same things all over again. If I would change a goal? Perhaps not, because now I am more familiar with college writing level, than I was before.

I can't say that I have fully grown as a writer because there are still some aspects in which I still need improvement on such as grammar and punctuation as well, but after all I am more confident that I can do better on my next writings.

Preparing for Le PortFolio!!

For my portfolio I chose to revise my narrative essay simply because I feel that I did a pretty good job paying attention to the audience since it was one of my strengths. I'd say that over all the essays that I've worked on, this one was the most strongest because it helped me keep track of what I was writing about and to whom I was directing it towards to. Also because I had a a clear way to keep the tone as when I started the essay and that I find difficult to keep focus of but in this paper I'm pretty sure I kept it the same.

To effectively revise my essay I will focus on more on my grammatical errors and pay close attention unto not repeating myself or rephrasing the same idea again. And lastly I will try to keep a longer length of the essay.

Then to rewrite my essay I will make sure I write everything out first make sure it's in chronological order, make see I don't loose my tone and keep track of the audience I am writing for. Lastly I shall check my grammar and punctuation as well. :D

Being The First Born

The thesis im going to argue about is if: The first born of the family shouldn't be the one to take all the responsibilities of their younger siblings.

My most compelling evidence is that just because they were the first ones to be born doesn't mean that they have to set an example to their younger siblings. Also sometimes parents expect a lot from you and they want you to be perfect so that one day your younger siblings could look up to you. One last thing is that even though you are the oldest you can't go out a lot because you have to babysit for your parents when they go out and since your older they expect you to knw how to take care of them.

My weakest evidence is that being older also has an advantage because you can stand up for yourself and have the chance to make your own decisions and also, in most cases you are the one in charge therefor you can tell your younger siblings what to do since you are older they have to respect you, like they say respect your elders. :D
